Senate Bill 798 and Senate Bill 1315

The "War" on Airsoft

People who know me know that I normally do not like to get into politics but this is something near and dear to me. Airsoft, for those of you who don't know is a sport using replica firearms. Replica firearms that shoot harmless plastic BBs (as long as you wear eye protection) and used in reenactments or simulation of military operations. The Senate of California is currently voting on SB 1315, a clone of previously rejected bill SB 798, this bill will ban airsoft in the county of Los Angeles, a city home to around a dozen of the largest airsoft corporations in America. The bill will immediately cost the city thousands of jobs and thousands, if not millions, of dollars in tax revenue. Airsoft doesn't deserve to be targeted and shut down like this. Please, show your support against SB 1315.
